Sometimes I feel like I’m beating my heard again a wall. Sharing life experiences in hope of sparing others from my mistakes or simply hoping they have an easier transition to adulthood only see them go astray causes my heart to ache. I ‘am reminded that I have no children of my own so it’s important that I “stay in my lane”.
I didn’t grow up with much but somewhere along the way I realized that education was crucial to create a better life for me. I did not want to depend upon any one to keep a roof over my head or food on my table. So after graduating from high school I worked full time to pay my way through college. College worked for me but trade school or vocational training may be a better option for others. The point being if you weren’t born with a silver spoon in your mouth education is essential to a better life.
Proverbs 13:20-25 says; Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. Consider: You are who you associate with, you are who you hang out with, and you are who you associate yourself with. You get the idea.
There are more successes then failures or bumps in the road as it were. I’am so proud. I believe lives can turn around and blossom when you focus and persevere.
I want to reinterate, know you are worthy. Whether it is a better job, more money, a better vehicle, or better friends and relationships, whatever your aspiration, you are worthy to receive it all. PEACE.
